Dear members, wind-in-the-hair enthusiasts, and everyone in between! Summer is slowly saying goodbye, but that doesn't mean we have to pack away our bikes and wrap ourselves in three layers of wool.
Quite the opposite! It's time to wake up our steel steeds, wipe the dust off the saddles, and set off together on an unforgettable autumn trip, where the only mandatory gear will be good spirits. Our tireless organiser Uroš has cooked up the perfect plan for late September or early October. Since we naturists are closely tied to nature, we'll of course be adapting to her whims.
⛅ The date depends on the weather
If it's pouring down or the wind is trying to blow us away, we'd rather stay home under a blanket. But if the sun is shining, we'll meet at the large parking lot by the swimming pool in Domžale. Uroš will let you know the exact day (Saturday or Sunday) and time as soon as he's signed a contract with the weather gods.
What awaits us on the way?
- 30 kilometres of pure enjoyment: No need to panic — the route is flat, well maintained, gravelled, and runs right alongside the soothing Kamniška Bistrica. It's suitable for every fitness level, from top-notch cyclists to those who only pedal when hunting for the remote.
- Main destination (Eco resort in Godič): We will stop at the Eco Resort in Godič, among charming mini cottages that resemble those of Veliko Planina, where we will take a short or long break to recharge our batteries. There, we will see the highest hunting observatory in the world and visit a lovely mini zoo.
- A sweet way home: The path will then lead us back toward Kamnik, where we will stop at the Orient bar/restaurant, known for its excellent food. If there is a wish and still some room left in our bellies, we will drive through the town of Kamnik, greet the famous Kamnik mammoth, and treat ourselves to premium ice cream at the Toscana pastry shop — known for one of the best homemade ice creams far around.
Ice cream we simply can't miss
We know ice cream goes into a completely different stomach, so we simply cannot pass up this opportunity at the Toscana ice cream parlour! And since the outing will last a good few hours, clear your schedule for the day. Forget about the clock, stress and obligations — this will be a day for socialising, laughter, and absorbing vitamin D. We will conclude the trip at our starting point in Domžale.
