Plenty of shade in the park for a rest

The stone sculptures of the Forma Viva stand in a meadow sheltered by tall cypresses. This is where we cyclists always like to stop, rest and cool off.

On the way home we pick every blackberry

Bicycles down by the side of the track, hands into the brambles. Not one ripe blackberry was left on the branches on the way home.

A stop before Umag

The route to Umag runs largely along a regional road, and at the end the old town with its bell tower opens up across the water — and the bicycles are set aside for a moment.
